American History
   
This is a survey of major aspects of United States history. This course will provide information to enable students to understand and analyze major American historical events. Students will e able to access and understand historical and contemporary issues in American and improve communication skills.

Early American History
   
Exploration of Reconstruction. The Course will examine the formation of the United States as a nation

Modern American History
   
Industrial Revolution to Present: The course will examine the development of the United States into a world leader in the Post-Cold War era.

Honors American History
   
A college-prep course that surveys the foundations and development of American Civilization. Emphases is placed on preparation for college work with added reading and writing assignments

World History
   
World History is a college-prep course that explores the origin and development of world civilization. A special emphases is placed on Western Civilization and the development of western ideas and values that have contributed to the development. of our national culture and identity.

Ancient History 
   
Prehistoric Period through Medieval Age: The course will explore the development of civilization.

Modern History
   
Renaissance Period to Present: The course will explore the development of the contemporary world.

Economics/Government
   
Economics is the study of human efforts to satisfy their needs and wants through the careful use of relatively scarce resources. Economics is designed to help the student make the proper choices as he or she deals with the economic problems of unemployment, inflation, and the efforts of government spending and taxes in our economy
    Government is the study of the US constitution and the three branches of our federal government with some exposure to state and local government.

Sociology
   
This is a survey of the study of  people interactions. The course will provide information to help students analyze human behavior. Social problems of our time and their courses are covered.

World Geography
   
World Geography is the study of the geographical locations across the earth. Students will learn to be able to locate states and their capitals, counties, and their capitals, major landmarks, and learn briefly about the cultures of each are studies.

Contemporary Issues
   
This course will examine the development of the American legal system, and the role of the citizen in that system
